In late 2020, the lease was up on Overabove’s office space. Our search for new quarters commenced amidst a global conversation about the purpose of “the office” in a post-pandemic landscape. But as many agencies like Overabove reduced square footage, closed satellite offices, started hoteling and even considered hiring experience managers to entice employees back to the office, our team shifted the focus. We opted against a lease for a new “workspace,” and sought out a true new “home” for Overabove instead. We’re transforming a 1970s-era building into a light-filled, collaborative place made just for our team, and documenting every step of the renovation journey.
